Using Rosewater for Indian Cooking

This is very much an Indian and Middle eastern product which is a distinctive rose perfumed water. It is produced as a by-product when rose oil is made and is also known to have applications in the cosmetic industry.

It is used to fragrance desserts such as kulfi (Indian Ice cream), sweets such as Turkish Delight as well as being an ingredient in some of the most decadent savoury dishes such as briyanin's.
