The Curry Festival is such a brilliant idea and there can't be that many such events in the UK that only focus on one type of cooking. The WCF is all about celebrating our love of a good curry (something that's very close to my heart) so it's a fantastic way to enjoy delicious dishes, and experience new ones, new cultures and make new friends. And, of

The whole shindig gets bigger and better each year and this one is packed with gala dinners, comedy, theatre, master classes, street food, chai bars and even the World Curry Festival Cooking School and the Junior Curry Chef competition. Chefs, bloggers, restauranteurs and curry nutters from Asia, Africa and America will be bringing their passion, their sense of fun, their cooking styles and techniques and, of course, delicious dishes for everyone to share.

There's live music, dancing - put it like this, where else on the planet could you go to witness the partnership between the Ilkley Literature Festival and a vindaloo or two?!? So go get your fill of poppadoms and poetry – and everything else in-between – this weekend in Bradford.
