Based in the heart of the beautiful Surrey Hills, The Abinger Cookery School offers a wide range of both day and evening courses, corporate events, plus longer 1 and 2 week ‘chalet chef’ courses ideal for those wanting to spend a winter season in the Alps. The Kent cookery school is based deep in the heart of kent, in the picturesque setting of the mersham le hatch estate, bordering the 190 acre deer park and 1000 year old woodland. The school was the first purpose built cookery school in Kent. Established in early 2011 and makes use of the old listed barn. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to create a vast array of dishes from fine French pastries to fresh pasta, with dedicated work stations for up to 10 people. Top chefs join forces with interactive dining event London Kitchen Social LIVE to promote the wonders of watercress in London this March.
The event held at Grace Hall, Central London on Monday 25th March will see six acclaimed chefs create an 8-course dinner for guests starting with a stunning canapé reception with welcome cocktail and finishing with bespoke chocolates by chocolatier David Frear.
Chefs Louisa Ellis, Daniel Britten, Robbie Lorraine, Hari Ghotra, Chris Wheeler and Eddie Kilty will be showcasing the great flavour and versatility of watercress, with this nutritious leafy vegetable being the critical ingredient in every course.
The dining event will also showcase produce from Quality Standard Mark Beef and Lamb and will also offer vegetarian and vegan options on request.
Each chef will prepare their course in front of the live audience and will have the opportunity to describe their dish and techniques.
On arrival, guests will receive a welcome cocktail, with non-alcoholic versions on offer and additional alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase from the bar throughout the night.

Stoke Park, the luxurious 5 AA Red Star Hotel, Spa and Country Club in Buckinghamshire is treating gourmands to a special ‘Meat’ the Chefs evening on Friday 29th March.
Stoke Park’s Executive Chef, Chris Wheeler, will join forces with his former boss, French star Jean-Christophe Novelli, Masterchef ‘The Professionals’ finalist Louisa Ellis, The Miller of Mansfield’s Nick Galer, Dez Turland, Hari Ghotra and the All England Club’s Robert Kennedy for a night of edible enchantment.
A menu for meat-lovers, each chef will cook one course, with all the beef and lamb served being Quality Standard Mark certified – ensuring a high quality and delicious bite.
The night will take place in Stoke Park’s stunning Fountain Room, commencing at 6.45pm with a Champagne reception with Pommery Champagne, followed by the dinner accompanied by fine wines from Justerini and Brooks.
